  • 1 cup whole milk small curds cottage cheese (4 percent milkfat)

Optional seasoning

  • to taste salt-free everything bagel seasoning Or any seasoning of your choice

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C). Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • Use a 1 tbsp cookie scoop to scoop the cottage cheese and release it onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Flatten the scoops to about 3/16 to 1/4 inch thick. If you’re using seasoning, sprinkle it on now.

Baking

  • Bake for about 40-50 minutes until the edges are dark brown and the surface is browned. Check around 20 minutes to see how they are doing.

Cooling

  • Allow the chips to cool fully for about 20-30 minutes, as they will get firmer as they cool.

Notes

Store in an airtight container or sealed bag for best freshness. They are best eaten within a few days but can last up to a week if kept sealed. Avoid storing them in the fridge to maintain crunchiness.
