  • 1 lb steak (sliced into thin strips)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli, carrots) Choose colorful vegetables for a vibrant dish
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Can substitute with a soy sauce and sugar mixture
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch Helps to lock in moisture
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For frying
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust to enhance flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, toss the sliced steak with cornstarch, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Cooking

  • Spread the steak in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger; stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot with rice or noodles.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Can freeze for up to 3 months.
