  • 2 pieces red apples (pink lady, honey crisp, or gala, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch bite-sized cubes) Choose firm and sweet apples for the best results.
  • 2 Tbsp real maple syrup (divided) You can substitute with honey or agave syrup if desired.
  • 1 Tbsp melted coconut oil This recipe is already vegan.
  • 1 tsp cinnamon Optional: add a pinch of nutmeg or a splash of vanilla extract for extra flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F and lightly spray the basket with non-stick spray.
  • In a bowl, toss the peeled apple cubes with 1 Tablespoon of maple syrup, coconut oil, and cinnamon.

Cooking

  • Add the apple cubes to the heated air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap too much.
  • Air fry for 10-14 minutes, shaking halfway through, until they are golden and slightly crispy on the outside.
  • Remove from the air fryer and toss the warm apples with the remaining 1 Tablespoon of maple syrup.

Notes

Serve these warm Air Fryer Apples on their own, with vanilla ice cream, or mixed into oatmeal. They can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
