Main Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes (7-9 oz)
  • ½ tsp sea salt or to taste
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil or use a cooking spray

Preparation

  • Scrub potatoes under running water then thoroughly dry with a towel.
  • Poke the potato all over with a fork, 4-5 times.
  • Rub with oil and sprinkle all over with salt.

Cooking

  • Add the potatoes to the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the potatoes at 400°F for basket-style air fryers or 375°F for toaster-style air fryers for 35-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Air fry until easily pierced with a knife, then use tongs to transfer potatoes to a plate.

Notes

Choose potatoes that are similar in size for even cooking. Don't skip poking holes in the potatoes to prevent bursting. Adjust cooking time based on potato size.
