Ingredients
  

For the Tacos

  • 1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh or thawed frozen shrimp
  • 4 pieces Flour tortillas Substitute with corn tortillas for gluten-free

For the Slaw

  • 2 cups Cabbage, shredded Use green or purple cabbage
  • 1 cup Carrots, shredded Freshly grated carrots work best

For the Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Use regular or light mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sweet chili sauce Adjust for sweetness preference
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha Add more for extra spiciness
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice Freshly squeezed lime juice is preferred

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, toss shrimp with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Air fry the shrimp for about 8-10 minutes until crispy.
  • In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice for the sauce.
  • In a separate bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots to make slaw, seasoning with salt and pepper.

Assembly

  • Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp in tortillas, drizzling with the creamy sauce, and topping with slaw.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve while warm. Pair with lime wedges and extra sauce for those who want more heat. Store shrimp and slaw separately in the refrigerator for up to two days; reheat shrimp in air fryer to regain crunch.
