Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Assembling

  • 4 pieces flour tortillas
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Dip the shrimp in buttermilk, then coat with flour.
  • Dip again in buttermilk, followed by coating with panko breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Arrange the shrimp in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

Making the Sauce and Slaw

  • In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  • In another bowl, mix coleslaw mix with lime juice.
  • Warm the tortillas in a skillet for 30 seconds on each side.

Assembly

  • Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on tortillas, topping with slaw and Bang Bang sauce.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Serve the tacos while they’re hot! Add extra toppings like avocado, cilantro, or lime wedges for an extra zing. If there are leftovers, store shrimp separately from tortillas and slaw. Reheat shrimp in the air fryer for crispiness.
