Instructions

Preparation

  • Slice your pickles into spears or rounds.
  • Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and the last with cornmeal, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each pickle slice into the flour, then the eggs, and finally coat in the cornmeal mixture.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Place the breaded pickles in a single layer in the basket, allowing for space for air circulation.
  • Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  • Air fry for about 10-12 minutes or until golden, flipping halfway through.

Serving

  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Don't overcrowd the basket for even cooking. Experiment with spices like garlic powder or paprika to add extra flavor. Store leftovers in salads or on burgers for an unexpected twist.
