  • 1 cup tomato Diced
  • 0.5 cup red onion Thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup cilantro Chopped
  • 1 clove garlic Minced
  • 2 limes limes Juice squeezed over the salad

Preparation

  • Start by cutting the avocados in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh into a bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocado to your desired smoothness.
  • Dice the tomatoes, thinly slice the red onion, chop the cilantro, and mince the garlic.
  • Add all these fresh ingredients to the bowl with the mashed avocado.

Seasoning

  • Squeeze the juice of two limes over the avocado mixture. Season with salt to taste.

Mixing

  • Gently combine all the ingredients, being careful not to over-mix.

Serving

  • Serve immediately for the best taste.

Notes

For a zesty topping, consider adding diced jalapeƱos. Also, this dish is naturally gluten-free and plant-based.
