Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 wheel wheel of Brie cheese Look for one that’s soft and creamy, it’ll melt beautifully!
  • 1/4 cup fig jam Feel free to swap in your favorite jam, like apricot or raspberry, for a different twist!
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans) Toasting the nuts slightly before adding them enhances their flavor—yum!
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (optional) If you’re short on time, the Brie is just as fabulous baked without it!
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional) Fresh rosemary or thyme will add a lovely aromatic touch!
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving Choose a hearty cracker or a warm slice of baguette to scoop up that gooey goodness!

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • If using puff pastry, roll it out and place the Brie in the center.
  • Spread the fig jam on top of the Brie.
  • Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the jam.
  • Fold the puff pastry around the Brie and seal it if using.
  • If not using puff pastry, simply place the Brie on a baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

Serving

  • Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Use a sharp knife to slice into the Brie; you don’t want the melty goodness to escape early! Don’t forget to pre-toast nuts for an added layer of flavor. Experiment with different herb combinations based on the season.
