Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 6 cups almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries) Optional: 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra nutrition

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine oats, almond milk, honey, cinnamon, chia seeds, and nuts. Stir well until everything is combined.
  • Carefully fold in the berries to avoid squishing them (especially if using frozen).
  • Pour the mixture into a prepared baking dish and cover with plastic wrap or a lid. Refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid.

Cooking

  • The next morning, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Remove the cover and bake about 25-30 minutes, until it’s firm and a bit golden on the top. It should be bubbling at the edges.
  • Let it rest for about 10 minutes after removing from the oven. Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For the best experience, serve warm and consider adding a dollop of yogurt or a drizzle of honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze individual portions.
