  • 1 cup breadcrumbs For coating

  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce For the dipping sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Added to the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying About 1 inch in a skillet

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces ensuring uniformity for even cooking.
  • In one bowl, combine the flour with salt and pepper. In a second bowl, beat the eggs until well combined. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

Breading

  • Dip each piece of chicken into the flour, ensuring a complete coat, then into the egg wash, and finally into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Cooking

  • Heat about 1 inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat (around 350°F).
  • Once the oil is hot, carefully place the coated chicken in the oil, cooking for approximately 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

Sauce Preparation

  • While the chicken fries, mix the sweet chili sauce, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl until well combined.

Serving

  • Once cooked, serve the chicken drizzled with the prepared sauce or on the side for dipping. Enjoy immediately for best texture.

Notes

For best results, serve the Bang Bang Chicken hot and crispy. You can also garnish with green onions or sesame seeds. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
