Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for serving cooked rice cooked rice

Instructions

Cooking

  • Heat the vegetable oil on the Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat (around 375°F). Allow it to shimmer for the best sear.
  • Add the sliced beef to the hot oil and cook for 3-4 minutes until nicely browned. Make sure to lay the beef in a single layer for an even cook—avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Introduce the minced garlic and ginger, stirring for 30 seconds until they're fragrant and lightly golden.
  • Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes. You want the broccoli bright green and tender-crisp but not too soft.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing everything together well to coat each ingredient. You'll notice the sauce will start to reduce slightly, becoming thick enough to lightly coat a spoon.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting according to your preference.
  • Serve hot over cooked rice, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.

Notes

For the best experience, serve hot right off the griddle. Garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions for extra appeal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
