  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and mushrooms; sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until well browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it into smaller pieces as it cooks.
  • Drain any excess fat, ensuring you keep the flavors intact.

Cooking

  • Stir in the beef broth along with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring to a rolling boil.
  • Add the egg noodles directly into the skillet, stirring gently to combine. Cover the skillet, reduce heat to low, and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serving

  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley or green onions, if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, transfer them into an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze in suitable containers.
