Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the beef tenderloin generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the beef on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for about 20-25 minutes or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Sauce Preparation

  • While the beef is cooking, prepare the pepper cream sauce.
  • In a small saucepan, crush the black peppercorns slightly and add them to the heavy cream.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder, and simmer over low heat until thickened, about 5-10 minutes.

Finishing Touches

  • Once the beef is done, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the sliced beef topped with the pepper cream sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
