Ingredients
  

For the Bake

  • 4 large large croissants, broken into small pieces Using day-old croissants enhances the texture.
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries Feel free to mix and match different types of berries.
  • 1/2 cup blueberries You can use frozen blueberries as well.
  • 1/2 cup raspberries Thaw and drain frozen raspberries if using.
  • 1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature.
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Spray a 9 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Spread the broken croissant pieces evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • Place all the berries evenly over the croissants.
  • Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  • Gradually add the sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
  • Pour this mixture all over the croissants and berries.
  • Cover the dish and place it in the fridge for 15 minutes or up to 14 hours.

Baking

  • Remove cover and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and set.

Serving

  • Serve warm with powdered sugar and/or syrup, if desired.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2 to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through.
