Preparation

  • Use an air popper or stovetop to pop the popcorn kernels.
  • In a large bowl, combine melted butter and red velvet cake mix until smooth.
  • Drizzle the butter mixture over the freshly popped popcorn and toss gently to coat.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar over the coated popcorn and mix well.
  • Drizzle on chocolate syrup and optionally add red food coloring. Mix it up.
  • Toss once more to ensure even coating of flavor.
  • Spread the popcorn on a baking sheet and let it cool.
  • Once cool, add sprinkles for decoration.

Notes
