  • 2 cups vanilla pudding Store-bought or homemade options can be used.
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache or chocolate sauce Adjust the quantity based on your taste preference.
  • 1 cup whipped cream Can use a light whipped topping for a lower calorie option.
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles For garnish.

Assembly

  • Cut the vanilla cake into cubes and layer half of them in a trifle dish.
  • Spoon half of the vanilla pudding over the cake cubes, spreading gently.
  • Drizzle half of the chocolate ganache over the pudding layer.
  • Repeat the layering with the remaining cake, pudding, and ganache.
  • Top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled. Can be prepared a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
