  • Cook bowtie pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes with juice, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Gently mix in the cooked pasta, ensuring it's well coated. Heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2-3 months. Reheat on the stovetop for best texture.
