Ingredients
  

Salad Base

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

Dressing

  • 1 cup mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt.
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the fresh broccoli florets, raisins, chopped red onion, sunflower seeds, and crumbled bacon. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Keep whisking until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture. Toss gently until all ingredients are coated evenly with the dressing.
  • Cover the salad and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled. Consider adding cherry tomatoes or fresh herbs for enhanced flavor and presentation. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
