Ingredients

For the Caesar Salad

  • 1 large head romaine lettuce, washed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons (store-bought or homemade)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

For the Fries

  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: your choice of seasonings (e.g., garlic powder, paprika)

For Serving

  • 2 cans Cola Zero

Instructions

Preparation of Fries

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the cut fries in a large bowl with olive oil and seasonings of your choice.
  • Spread the fries evenly on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Making Caesar Salad

  • In a large bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce.
  • Drizzle with Caesar dressing and toss until the leaves are evenly coated.
  • Add croutons and grated Parmesan cheese, tossing gently to combine.
  • Finish with freshly cracked black pepper to taste.

Serving the Meal

  • Once fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and season with salt.
  • Plate the Caesar salad beside a generous serving of fries.
  • Serve ice-cold Cola Zero on the side to complete your meal.

Notes

This meal is best enjoyed while the fries are hot and crispy, and the salad is fresh and cool. Consider garnishing the salad with additional Parmesan or fresh herbs for an elevated touch. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container; salad stays fresh for up to 3 days, fries for 2 days.
