Seasoning

  • 1 cup heavy cream For a lighter version, half-and-half works.

Vegetables

  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced Mix and match colors for presentation.

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breast with Cajun seasoning, add to the skillet, and cook for about 6-7 minutes until golden-brown.
  • Remove the chicken and slice it into pieces.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the sliced bell peppers and onions until soft and slightly caramelized.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, creating a velvety sauce.
  • Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet, coating everything in the sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

To customize, add favorite vegetables or spices. Letting the dish sit for a few minutes helps flavors meld.
