  • 1 lb ground beef Cook thoroughly and drain fat
  • 1 cup cream cheese Use for creamy sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream Adds smooth texture
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Mix until melted
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust to taste for spice level
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the beef

Preparation

  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Cooking

  • Add Cajun seasoning to the beef and mix well.
  • Lower the heat and add cream cheese and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  • Mix in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
  • Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of milk or cream if necessary. Customize with vegetables like bell peppers or spinach by sautéing them with the beef.
