Ingredients
  

Corn Ingredients

  • 4 ears Fresh corn, husked You can also use frozen corn if fresh is unavailable.
  • 2 tablespoons Oil Use olive oil or vegetable oil.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic is preferred.
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped Any variety of onion can work.
  • 1 medium Bell pepper, chopped Choose your preferred color.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika Adds a nice smoky flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Or use any Italian herbs available.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red pepper Adjust for desired spice level.

Finishing Touches

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated More can be added if desired.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Can be substituted with olive oil for vegan option.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Seasoning

  • In a bowl, mix your oil with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper.
  • Coat the corn evenly with this mixture, reserving some for later use.

Heat the Skillet

  • Place a skillet over medium-high heat and let it heat up for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Once hot, add the seasoned corn to the skillet and cook for around 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.

Prepare the Parmesan Sauce

  • Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl for about 30 seconds.
  • Mix in the grated Parmesan and chopped parsley until combined.

Complete the Dish

  • Once the corn is cooked, pour the Parmesan mixture over it.
  • Add more Parmesan if desired and salt to taste.

Notes

Serve hot with an extra sprinkle of parsley. Pairs well with grilled meats and summer beverages.
