  • 1 cup White Chocolate Choose high-quality white chocolate for smooth coverage.
  • 12 pieces Fresh Strawberries Pick firm, ripe strawberries.
  • few drops Yellow Food Coloring Use to achieve a warm fall hue.
  • few drops Orange Food Coloring Use for a classic Halloween touch.
  • 1 cup Candy Corn Fresh candy corn adds perfect crunch.

Preparation

  • Melt the White Chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl by heating in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until smooth.
  • Divide melted chocolate into three bowls -- one for plain white chocolate, and mix yellow and orange food coloring in the other two.
  • Dip the strawberries into the white chocolate, shake off excess, and drizzle with colored chocolate as desired.
  • Place strawberries on a parchment-lined tray to set for about 30 minutes in a cool, dry place.
  • Once slightly warm, gently press a piece of candy corn into the chocolate tip of each strawberry.

Notes

For best results, ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping in chocolate. You can also substitute white chocolate with milk or dark chocolate.
