Preparation

  • Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Batter Preparation

  • Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Divide the batter into three bowls; leave one as is and color the second with yellow food coloring and the third with orange.

Cooking

  • Pour small amounts of each colored batter onto the heated waffle iron, creating the candy corn pattern.
  • Close the lid and cook until golden brown as per your waffle iron's instructions.

Notes
