Ingredients
  

For the Dip

  • 1 can 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup 1 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the black beans, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salsa, garlic powder, and cumin. Mix until well blended.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Serving

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add some diced jalapeños to the mixture before baking. Customize by using different types of cheese or adding diced bell peppers or corn.
