Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use leftover rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to substitute with mozzarella or pepper jack.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Greek yogurt can be used as a lighter alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional) For garnish.

For assembly

  • 1 can crescent roll dough Pre-packaged for convenience.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and seasoning. Mix until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

Assembly

  • Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up towards the pointed end, tucking in the sides.
  • Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and slightly puffed.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Uncooked rolls can be frozen for up to three months. Bake from frozen, adding extra time as needed.
