Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Use fresh mozzarella for better melting.
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Breading Mixture

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs For a crispier texture.
  • 2 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh parsley Optional, for serving.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese until well mixed.
  • In another bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Take a small amount of the cheese mixture and form it into golf ball-sized bites.
  • Dip each bite in the egg mixture, then roll it in the panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  • Place the coated bites on the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Notes

These bites are best served warm. Serve them with marinara sauce for dipping or sprinkle fresh parsley on top for color. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes until heated through.
