  • 1 packet taco seasoning Mild or spicy based on preference
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  • Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the canned beans, corn, and taco seasoning to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  • Stir in the ready rice and mix everything until heated through.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, cover the skillet, and let it sit for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, topped with optional ingredients if desired.

Notes

This dish pairs well with tortilla chips or a fresh salad. For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeƱos or hot sauce. You can swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken for a healthier option.
