  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup nuts (almonds or walnuts) You can mix in different nuts or seeds based on your preference.
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional) Skip honey to make it vegan.

Preparation

  • In a food processor, combine the pitted dates, dried cherries, dried cranberries, and nuts.
  • Pulse until the mixture is finely chopped.
  • Add rolled oats, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup if using, and a pinch of salt.
  • Pulse again until everything is well mixed and sticky.
  • Form the mixture into small bite-sized balls.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
