Fudge Base

  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk Creamy base for fudge.
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips Use quality chocolate for best flavor.

Mix-Ins

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Adds delightful texture.
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, chopped Tart yet sweet.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional) Substitute your favorite nut.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances sweetness.

Preparation

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and semisweet chocolate chips. Stir gently until the mixture melts and becomes smooth and glossy.
  • Remove the pan from heat and stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Fold in the chopped maraschino cherries.
  • Gently fold in the mini marshmallows and walnuts (if using).
  • Pour the fudge mixture into a greased 8×8 inch dish and spread it evenly.
  • Refrigerate the fudge bars for at least 2 hours or until they set completely.
  • Once set, cut into bars and serve.

Notes

Use quality chocolate for better flavor. Ensure the fudge is fully set before cutting for the best texture. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
