  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup cream or milk Ensure at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, steamed broccoli, and half of the shredded cheese. Gently fold the ingredients together until evenly distributed.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream, chicken broth, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Aim for a smooth mixture that’s thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  • Pour the sauce over the pasta mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Spread it evenly, then sprinkle the remaining cheese and Parmesan on top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different cheese blends or substitute chicken with turkey. This dish can be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated.
