Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Crust

  • 1 pound ground chicken Use slightly chilled for easier handling.
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For the Toppings

  • 1 cup marinara sauce Spread over the crust.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded For topping.
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices Can be pre-cooked for enhanced flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a bowl, combine ground chicken, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Spread the chicken mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming a crust about 1/2 inch thick.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and spread marinara sauce over the crust.
  • Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices evenly.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let it cool slightly, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier option, mix in finely chopped spinach into the chicken crust. Great for keto dieters and those seeking low-carb options.
