  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup Provides earthy depth.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Use low-sodium for better salt control.
  • 1/2 cup milk Provides creaminess and essential texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances savory goodness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder Adds subtle sweetness and depth.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Balances the flavors.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Melts into bubbly perfection on top.

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix the Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Pour and Bake

  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken for convenience. Long-grain rice is preferred for proper cooking. Add herbs for garnishing.
