  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Cooking

  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and simmer for a few minutes to reduce slightly.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat.
  • Slice the chicken and serve on top of the buttered noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Ensure the chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F for safe eating. For extra flavor, add Italian herbs or lemon juice to the noodles. For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream to the chicken broth while simmering. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of chicken broth or water.
