Ingredients
  

For the bake

  • 1 package 1 (10 to 13-oz) package mini croissants, chopped
  • 2 packages 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 1/3 cup 1 1/3 cup sugar Can be adjusted for sweetness preference.
  • 4 large 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup 2 cups milk
  • 2 cup 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Place croissant pieces in the prepared pan and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth using an electric mixer.
  • Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla to the cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
  • Add milk to the mixture and mix until combined.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the croissant pieces.
  • Let it stand for 20 minutes or cover and refrigerate overnight.

Baking

  • Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes or until set in the center.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, consider mixing in some chopped nuts or dried fruit along with the chocolate chips. To make this recipe even easier, you can use store-bought chocolate croissants instead of regular ones. If you want to reduce the sweetness, you can decrease the sugar by a little. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and frozen for up to 2 months.
