  • 2 cups heavy cream Chilled
  • 1 cup whole milk Chilled
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar Can substitute with agave syrup
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter Creamy or crunchy, as per preference
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder For rich chocolate flavor

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the peanut butter, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until fully combined, around 1-2 minutes of gentle stirring.

Churning

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, typically 20-25 minutes, until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Freezing

  • Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or transfer to a container and freeze for 2-4 hours for a firmer texture.

Notes

For best results, chill mixing bowls and ice cream maker bowl for at least 2 hours before starting. To prevent ice crystals, ensure the mixture is well-blended before freezing.
