  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (or non-dairy milk) Use your preferred type of milk.
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, cocoa powder, peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Stir until well mixed.
  • Pour into jars or containers, cover, and refrigerate overnight.

Serving

  • In the morning, stir and enjoy cold, or warm in the microwave if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, top with banana slices, berries, or a sprinkle of nuts. A drizzle of extra peanut butter or chocolate sauce can make it even more indulgent. Use ripe bananas for added sweetness if you prefer.
