Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can use dark or white chocolate for variation.

For the peanut butter mixture

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter Make sure it's creamy for best results.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Can reduce for a healthier option.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Equipment

  • 1 set Heart-shaped molds Or any silicone mold or lined muffin tin.

Preparation

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and microwave in 30-second intervals until melted. Stir well.
  • In another bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Assembly

  • Pour a layer of melted chocolate into heart-shaped molds.
  • Spoon the peanut butter mixture into the molds, then cover with more melted chocolate.
  • Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
  • Remove from molds and enjoy your Valentine’s treats!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, refrigerate for up to two weeks. Make sure to stir the chocolate well after melting to avoid lumps.
