Ingredients
  

For the hearts

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Ensure it's creamy for the best texture.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the coating

  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips Can substitute with dark or white chocolate.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 none heart-shaped silicone mold Needed to shape the hearts.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  • Pour a small amount of melted chocolate into each cavity of the heart mold, spreading it to cover the sides.

Setting the hearts

  • Place the mold in the fridge for 5-10 minutes to harden.
  • Once set, fill each heart cavity with the peanut butter mixture, pressing down gently.
  • Cover the top with more melted chocolate, ensuring each heart is sealed.
  • Refrigerate until completely set, about 30 minutes.
  • Gently remove from the mold and enjoy your chocolate peanut butter hearts!

Notes

These hearts are perfect for sharing on special occasions. Decorate them with sprinkles or drizzled chocolate for an extra touch. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They last about a week. For longer storage, freeze them with parchment paper between each heart.
