  • 1 box Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes) The star of the show!
  • 8 ounces white chocolate or candy melts Smooth coating for a festive touch.
  • 3 tablespoons festive sprinkles Add color and crunch.
  • 3 tablespoons red candy melts (for drizzling, optional) Adds a pop of color.
  • to taste green sanding sugar For decoration.

Preparation

  • Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them into a large bowl.
  • Using a handheld mixer, mix the cakes until a crumbly dough forms.
  • Mix the festive sprinkles into the cake dough.
  • Using a tablespoon, scoop and roll the dough into little round balls, placing them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating gently in 30-second intervals.
  • Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted white chocolate, coating completely, then allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Melt the red candy melts in a piping bag or ziplock bag and drizzle over the truffles.
  • Top with green sanding sugar for decoration.
  • Allow the truffles to set in the fridge for a few minutes before enjoying.

Notes

For added fun, chill the cake balls before dipping, use quality chocolate, and experiment with different toppings. These are make-ahead friendly and can last up to a week in an airtight container.
