Ingredients
  

Cheese Filling

  • 8 oz Cream cheese Make sure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, etc.) Any fresh herbs can be used based on preference.
  • 1/2 cup Dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc.)

Assembly

  • 1 package Puff pastry or tortilla wraps Store-bought puff pastry works perfectly.
  • 12 sticks Pretzel sticks Can substitute with breadsticks or small slices of cheese.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, fresh herbs, dried cranberries, and chopped nuts.
  • Cut the puff pastry or tortilla into triangle shapes.
  • Place a dollop of the cheese mixture on each triangle.
  • Fold them to shape them like Christmas trees.
  • Place a pretzel stick at the bottom of each triangle.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve warm as an appetizer, garnished with fresh herbs for an extra festive touch.

Notes

If you have leftovers, allow them to cool and then store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. To reheat, place them in the oven until warmed through. For a sweeter variation, consider adding honey or chocolate chips.
