Ingredients
  

Crescent Roll Base

  • 1 can crescent rolls Use one can for the bottom layer.

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for easy blending.
  • 1/2 cup sugar For the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor to the filling.

Cinnamon Sugar Topping

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For the topping.
  • 1/4 cup sugar Mix with cinnamon for topping.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted To brush on top of the bars.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them flat in a greased baking dish to form the base.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes on medium speed).
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
  • Unroll the remaining crescent rolls and place them on top of the cream cheese layer, pinching seams together.
  • In a bowl, mix the 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon together. Brush the top layer of crescent rolls with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over it.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 10-15 minutes before cutting into bars.

Notes

Serve these bars warm or at room temperature. For an extra treat, drizzle with caramel sauce or serve with ice cream. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for longer storage.
