  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted Make sure to cool slightly before mixing.
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Topping

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar For topping.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For topping.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  • In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the batter.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool, cut into squares, and serve.

Notes

Cinnamon Sugar Blondies can be served warm or at room temperature. Pair them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra treat. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, refrigerate for longer freshness, or freeze for longer storage.
