  • 3 large Egg Whites Use room temperature for easier whipping.
  • 2.5 TBS Sugar Add to egg whites during whipping.
  • 1 TBS Cornstarch Helps stabilize the egg whites.

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  • Whip egg whites with a mixer until big bubbles form.
  • Add sugar to the egg whites.
  • Continue whipping the egg whites and sugar until small bubbles form.
  • Add cornstarch and whip until the egg whites form stiff peaks.
  • Pour the egg white mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and form it into a loaf or mound.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Notes

To store cloud bread, let it cool completely, then place it in an airtight container. It can be kept at room temperature for a few days or stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can also freeze it for longer storage. Make sure mixing bowl and beaters are clean and grease-free for better whipped egg whites.
