Preparation

  • Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering with water, and bringing to a boil.
  • Once boiling, cover the pot and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes, then cool in ice water.
  • Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
  • Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper, then mix until creamy.

Coloring

  • For coloring, mix food coloring with a little vinegar and water in separate bowls.
  • Dip the egg white halves into the dye for a few minutes.

Assembly

  • Fill the colored egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  • Sprinkle with paprika and serve.
