Main Ingredients

  • 6 large large eggs Scramble just before assembling.
  • 8 ounces ground pork sausage Can substitute with turkey sausage.
  • 6 slices thick cut bacon Cook and crumble before adding.
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to use other cheese types.
  • 1 package King's Hawaiian Rolls (12 count) Soft rolls for a perfect base.
  • 1 recipe cowboy butter, melted Use for brushing and drizzling.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray a 7x11 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Split the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  • Evenly pour about 2 tablespoons of melted cowboy butter over the bottom halves of the rolls in the pan.

Assembly

  • Top with an even layer of scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls on top of the cheese and brush with 2 tablespoons of melted cowboy butter.

Baking

  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is hot and bubbly.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes, until the tops of the sliders are golden brown.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven, slice, and serve the sandwiches with the remaining cowboy butter either brushed over them or for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave. Add vegetables like diced bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
