Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it is softened for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup crab meat, cooked and chopped Imitation crab meat works well as a budget-friendly alternative.
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce A splash of soy sauce can be added for extra flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the sliders

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls Cut in half.
  • Oil for frying (optional) Can be skipped if baking.
  • Sweet and sour sauce for serving (optional) Serve warm for dipping.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  • Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half and spread a generous amount of the crab mixture onto each bottom half.
  • Place the top half of the rolls on the crab mixture and secure with toothpicks if necessary.

Cooking

  • (Optional) Heat oil in a pan and lightly fry the sliders until golden brown on each side.

Serving

  • Serve warm with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.

Notes

If storing leftovers, keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven to restore some crispiness if fried. You can also pair them with fresh vegetables or a light salad for a complete meal.
