Cooking Instructions

  • In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, sear the pork chops in the bacon drippings over medium-high heat until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.
  • In the skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Crumble the cooked bacon and add it back to the sauce.
  • Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them with the creamy sauce.
  • Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For best results, choose bone-in pork chops for more flavor and tenderness. Watch the sauce closely while it cooks to prevent over-thickening. Feel free to add herbs or spices for extra flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They can be reheated gently on the stove or in the microwave.
