Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cooking

  • In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the pan.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Sear on both sides until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the pork chops and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and Dijon mustard to the bacon drippings. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce.
  • Crumble the cooked bacon over the top.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a simple salad. Crusty bread is great for soaking up the creamy sauce. To store leftovers, cool to room temperature, place in an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
